If your website is on Windows Hosting and you want to take a database backup, here’s how you do it:

1. Login to your Plesk Panel
2. Click on “Backup Manager”
3. Click on “Database Backup Repository”in your Backup Manager
4. Select your Database from the drop down list
5. Click on “Backup”
6. Give a Backup file name
7. Click on OK
8. Give it few minutes. The server will now generate the database backup and you’ll get a link on the page to download your database backup
9. Click on the link

That’s it. Your database backup is now getting downloaded onto your computer.
